Dr. Raymond B. Pennington Athletic Complex
Dr. Raymond B. Pennington Athletic Complex, host site for the 2018 Dixie Youth Baseball World series, host site for the inaugural D2 Dixie Youth World Series in 2019 and host site of the NCDYB State Tournament in 2023, is a 140 acre park that is a state of the art athletic complex featuring six baseball/softball fields, five batting cages, a scoring tower, two concessions stands; two regulation football/soccer fields, .75 mile walking trail, two picnic shelters, one large play unit, plus an open space area with shade trees for family fun. Southeastern NC Agricultural Events Center
Attend equestrian events in the Pavilion, including trail competitions, acrobatic horse riders competitions, barrel racing, a monthly horse and tack sale, bully dog shows, car shows, trade shows and motor sports events, to name some of the action that occurs at the Southeastern NC Agricultural Events Center. Pickleball
Pickleball courts are available with both indoor and outdoor play. An indoor court is available at the Bill Sapp Recreation Center and outdoor courts are located at the Meadow Lark County Park at 657 Burns Road, Meadow Road and West Powersville Road, 28358, and a dog park is located adjacent to the courts.

Golfing in Lumberton and Around the County
Pine Crest Golf Club, located on the edge of Lumberton City Limits, is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course designed by Donald Ross and Dick Wilson. Amenities include a fully-stocked Golf shop, driving range, practice putting green, locker rooms, clubhouse with snack bar and a banquet and dining room with a catering service on site.
